La București se desfășoară Săptămâna Guvernării Deschise 2016

În perioada 5-11 martie 2016, în capitala României are loc Săptămâna Guvernării Deschise 2016 care se desfășoară sub egida Cancelariei Prim-ministrului din România și Ministerului pentru Consultare Publică și Dialog Civic, alături de reprezentanți ai societății civile, mediului diplomatic și sectorului privat.

City of Amsterdam opens DataLab

On 15 February, the city councillor of Amsterdam opened a new DataLab. This place is meant to be a meeting point where the municipality of Amsterdam gathers and shares data in collaboration with universities, schools, organisations and companies. For example, by linking data to data related questions and problems, it is possible to choose the best location for garbage containers more efficiently. The number of households in the area are combined with the walking distance towards a garbage assembling point to plan the best locations.

California to Pilot Statewide Open Data Portal

Officials announce plans for a next-gen open data portal for agencies and departments. California is hatching plans to pilot a next-gen open data portal to house all of its public agency data under one roof. Next steps for the site are to add data sets from four additional departments by the end of February with the goal to replace the state’s aging open data site Data.ca.gov with a beta version by June.

Open call: Become part of the working group on open government

In 2012 the Government of the Republic of Moldova joined the Open Government Partnership, having implemented since then two action plans, which are based on initiatives of transparency, open data and civic participation. As a member of this global initiative, the Moldovan Government has the responsibility to develop and present in 2016 the third Action Plan for a period of two years (2016-2017). Any National Action Plan for an Open Government should be co-created with civil society and other stakeholders/relevant players as business, academic environment, citizens, etc.

В 2012 году Правительство Республики Молдова присоединилось к Партнерству «Открытого правительства», внедрив, с тех пор, два плана действий, которые основаны на инициативах, связанных с прозрачностью, открытостью данных и гражданским участием. В 2016 году, в качестве члена данной глобальной инициативы, ответственностью Правительства Республики Молдова станет разработка и представление плана действий на двухлетний период (2016-2017).
